Some enthusiasts believe that a space object similar to earth will collide or travel near the earth in 2012 making changes on earth. This planetary object is called Planet X or Nibiru. This planet was first mentioned by Zecharia Sitchin, a writer on ancient astronomy, but he does not believe there is a connection between Nibiru and 2012. The connection was first originated by Nancy Lieder in 1995 who claims that she was contacted by outer space to warn that an object will come towards the earth to make dramatic changes on earth. Scientists do not believe this idea as they argue that anyone of us can see this object by now in the clear sky if it is going to reach earth in 2012.
