There is a project known as the Web Bot project which claims to be predicting future events including the end of the world in 2012. The founders of this project (Clif High and George Ure; created 1997) send future predictions via the Internet using a software program that searches the Internet automatically based on key words. The program creates patterns based on the data. They claim that they have predicted successfully many events before they happened including the air attacks in New York in September 11, 2001. However, the critics say that these predictions are vague in nature. Also, critics believe that you may be able to predict events like stock market fall-down that involve human records but it is not possible to predict something off the Internet which do not have any human input like natural disasters or end of the world.
